Receptionist – Casual (with potential to transition to Permanent Part-Time)

West Lakes Physio Sports and Rehab (formerly Adelaide Crows Sports Medicine Clinic) is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced receptionist to join our passionate and energetic administration team.

Here at West Lakes Physio Sports and Rehab, we pride ourselves on being a trusted and innovative allied health clinic. The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Casual Receptionist to join our team, working approximately 20–25 hours per week.

At present, the clinic requires coverage during the following times:

  • Monday: 1.00 pm – 7.00 pm
  • Tuesday: 7.45 am – 12.45 pm
  • Thursday: 7.45 am – 12.45 pm
  • Saturday: 8.45 am – 12.15 pm

These hours are a guideline based on current clinic needs and may vary. After a 3-month period, there is the potential for the role to transition into a Permanent Part-Time position, with the possibility of increased hours depending on clinic requirements and performance.


Your Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients with a warm and professional demeanour
  • Managing patient bookings and schedules
  • Handling queries and requests in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Processing billing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks
  • Maintaining an organised and welcoming reception area
  • Supporting allied health practitioners and assisting the Administration Manager and Practice Manager as needed
  • Ensuring the smooth daily operation of the clinic using strong time management and multitasking skills

Must-Haves

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong professional communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • A proactive attitude with great organisational skills

Desirable (but not essential)

  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the health industry
  • Knowledge of Practice Management Software (e.g., PracSuite/Cliniko)
  • Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic operating systems
