About the Role

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes, with a focus on pizza and Italian classics
  • Managing and training kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient team culture
  • Creating seasonal specials and contributing to menu development
  • Ensuring stock control, ordering, and cost management
  • Upholding food safety and hygiene standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for authentic Italian food and high-quality produce
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of kitchen financials (food cost, waste management, rostering efficiency)
