Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Cook with specialist skills in pastries, breads, desserts, and the preparation of authentic Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine. This is a key role in our kitchen to maintain food quality and authenticity, and to support the training of junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present Middle Eastern, Asian, and other dishes on the menu.
  • Prepare pastries, breads, and desserts for catering and menu service.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist in developing and improving menu items and recipes.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, especially in baking and pastry-making techniques.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storage of supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in pastry, bakery, and dessert preparation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Middle Eastern and Asian cuisine, including knowledge of traditional recipes and techniques.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: $76,515-$80,000
