We're looking for a confident and driven individual with extensive exposure to transport or operational administration to join our team at Cahill Transport's Lytton depot.

If you've worked in local or linehaul operations, fleet scheduling, logistics coordination, or transport administration, and you're ready to take the next step in your career within a fast-paced, nationally connected business, this is your opportunity.

In This Role, You'll Be Responsible For

  • Coordinating and allocating our linehaul fleet across the country.
  • Planning routes and managing driver schedules.
  • Monitoring operations in real time and resolving challenges as they arise.
  • Supporting a culture of efficiency, safety, and teamwork.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating and adjusting driver schedules in line with CoR, fatigue, and NHVAS requirements.
  • Communicating clearly with drivers, internal teams, and key customers.
  • Proactive problem solving.
  • Working closely with the operations team to improve performance and reduce downtime.
  • Supporting after-hours planning when required.

What You'll Bring

  • A can-do attitude.
  • Proven experience in linehaul allocation, fleet coordination, or logistics planning.
  • Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue, and mass management rules.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Confident using transport management systems (e.g. TN360) and Microsoft Office.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills – you're a team player who can lead from the seat.
  • A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and safety-first approach.
