We are seeking an experience and highly motivated Transport Allocator.

**What We're Looking For**:
Are you a seasoned transport and logistics professional with a passion for optimising operations, leading teams, and ensuring seamless service delivery? We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Allocator to join our fast-growing logistics company.
- **Dispatching**and **route optimisation** skills with ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of **Brisbane Wharfs** and **Road Network**:

- A team player with **effective communication** and **interpersonal skills** to collaborate with team members, drivers and customers
- Full working rights in Australia (Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- **Highly organised** with the ability to work autonomously and efficiently in a very high-pressure environment.
- **Experience**in Transport and Logistics management
- Highly proficient **computer skills** and ability to pick things up quickly

**Role Responsibilities**:
As a Transport Allocator, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- **Leadership Role**: Supervise drivers and warehouse workers to ensure smooth operations and supportive team collaboration. Report and liase closely with our National Operations Manager
- **Work Allocation**: Strong skills and experience in manifesting and booking in 1-STOP VBS, Containerchain & Hutchison Ports for EXPORT, IMPORT & MT'S
- Strategically plan and coordinate daily runs and routing to ensure efficiency and meet customer deadlines
- **Customer Service**: Liasing with our customers to keep them updated and well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or changes that will impact them.
- **Driver Oversight**:Communicate effectively with drivers to ensure deliveries are completed as directed and scheduled
- **General Administration**:Handle necessary administrative tasks related to the fleet and warehouse operations.
- **Client and Driver Support**:Address any queries from drivers and clients to ensure operational efficiency.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
