About the role

Bannister Downs Dairy is seeking an experienced Sales Area Manager to join our team. This full-time position is based in Perth and plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships across our key markets.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
  2. Manage a portfolio of existing customers, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery
  3. Identify new business opportunities and lead the acquisition of new customers
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  5. Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to support business planning and decision making
  6. Mentor and develop a team of sales representatives to maximise their performance and career growth

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of success in a sales role, ideally within the FMCG or dairy industry
  2. Minimum 3-4 years of area sales management experience required
  3. FMCG or fresh food industry experience is mandatory
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
  5. Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and capitalise on new opportunities
  6. Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  7. Passion for the Bannister Downs Dairy brand and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  8. Australian work rights are essential for this position
