Lead Group is proud to be exclusively partnering with Franklin Electric, a global leader in pumping systems and water solutions, as they expand their footprint in the Australian market.

With recent acquisitions of leading pump brands including Pioneer, Minetuff and PumpEng, Franklin Electric is investing heavily in growth and positioning itself as a leading solutions provider to the pumping/water industry.

We are now seeking an Area Sales Manager to focus on building and expanding relationships across all Franklin's customer sectors with a focus on mining in Western Australia.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager and working closely with the Perth-based team you'll be responsible for driving sales of Franklin's water pump products across WA.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing sales strategies to grow business across the Goldfields, Pilbara, Midwest, and Southwest mining regions.
  • Building strong relationships with end-users and distributors within mining.
  • Leveraging with agriculture and domestic sales teams in WA
  • Identifying new business opportunities to expand Franklin Electric's market share.
  • Representing a globally recognised brand with a strong reputation for reliability and innovation.
About You:

This role will suit someone with a technical sales or trade background who enjoys a client-facing role, travel, and building strong, high-touch relationships. Experience in pump sales would be highly regarded, but we're equally open to candidates with exposure to complementary products.

You'll bring:
  • Proven business development experience in the industrial or mining sector.
  • Strong network of relationships across WA mining regions.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a small, close-knit team.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to key mining regions (Goldfields, Pilbara, Midwest, Southwest)
