About the role

As a People and Culture Coordinator for CDC Regional Australia Division (RAD) you will play a key role supporting the coordination of HR processes to deliver exceptional outcomes across the business. This is a unique position that offers variety beyond the traditional HR path, giving you exposure to all levels—from depot staff to senior executives.

Working closely with the People and Culture team, you'll contribute to key projects, cyclical processes (like remuneration reviews, engagement surveys, and performance cycles), and continuous improvement of tools, reporting and employee experience.

Our work supports the public transport sector (buses)—a complex, highly regulated industry where attention to detail matters. An appreciation or background in similar environments will be highly regarded. Reporting to the General Manager People & Culture, this is a full-time role based at our Eagle Farm office.

What you'll focus on:

  • Provide support across all aspects of the employee life cycle.

  • Respond to People & Culture queries with a focus on first-call resolution and professional service.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for process, system, and service improvements.

  • Coordinate P&C activities and workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships across the business.

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, culture-building activities and events.

  • Collaborate with the People & Culture team to align strategies with broader HR initiatives.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a generalist position with exposure to industrial relations including award/agreement interpretation.

  • A tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in Human Resources or related field (advantageous).

  • You will be a positive and organised individual who has an eye for detail in documenting policy and procedure and performance management investigations.

  • You will be able to demonstrate that you are a motivated self-starter with proven initiative and have a willingness to share ideas to achieve the best results for our employees and our company.
