Our community is at the centre of all we do, and we operate with passion and pride in all that we do There is an exciting opportunity to join the Central Operations team in our Eagle Farm Support Office as a Facilities Coordinator.

About the Role:

As the Facilities Coordinator you will play a critical role in supporting our operations and assets across the businesses. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and smooth delivery of maintenance, repairs, and servicing of our facilities and the assets in which we rely on across the country. Building trusted and reliable relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, you will be meticulously administrating the central digital management system. Overall, you will support the safe, efficient, and effective management of our stores, warehouse, and support office.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate the regular maintenance activities for all stores and associated sites, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and General building upkeep.
  • Contractor/Vendor Management: Navigate and build commercially viable relationships with our vendors and contractors to facilitate a high level of service delivery to our business.
  • Procurement and Accounts Management: Procure the necessary supplies, equipment, and materials for facilities maintenance operations, ensuring that you operate within the commercial guidelines and expectations of our business.
  • Record Keeping, Auditing, and Administration: Establish and maintain comprehensive records of the facilities maintenance and activities, ensuring servicing intervals, warranties, certification, and testing-tagging requirements are observed.
  • Workplace Safety: Conduct your role with an exemplary level of workplace safety and OH&S culture and processes, demonstrating by leadership the recommendations and precautions endorsed by relevant health and safety authorities.

Experience and Skills:

  • You are an experienced user of MS Office applications as well as a ticket/tracking job management software.
  • Highly organised with effective time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A general knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements and best practices in facilities and asset management.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a large team but also autonomously, with minimal supervision.
