About the role

Reporting to the General Manager Beau's Pet Hotel and Guide Dogs SA/NT Finance Manager, the Beau's Accounting Officer is responsible for the management of the accounts receivable ledger, bank reconciliations and variance reporting for Guide Dogs transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake transactional reconciliations for direct debits, banking and suspense bank accounts.
  • Prepare invoices and follow up overdue client and customer payments.
  • Undertake stock reconciliation, ordering and report variances.
  • High level of attention to detail with a passion for numbers.

This role is 0.6 FTE (22.8 hours per week), with flexibility offered on how these hours are spread.

About you

With proven experience as an Accounts Officer or emerging knowledge through university study, you will be a self-starter who is highly organised. Matched with an ability to use booking and finance systems and a demonstrated ability to quickly identify and implement efficiencies. You have experience in preparing and processing direct debit transactions, including using EFTPOS machines, invoicing, stock reconciliations and you love to reconcile

If you love animals and working within a fun and friendly team, excel at delivering great customer service and have excellent communication and administration skills you will excel in this role.
