Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and administrative staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Oversee client engagements and resource allocation, ensure the delivery of high-quality accounting services, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies
  • Implementation of quality control measures and risk management to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial reporting and accounting practices.
  • Streamline and enhance internal processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Strategic Planning aligning operational activities with business goals.
  • Policy development and implementation
  • Staff Management and Development
  • Financial and Operational budgeting and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Managing a team or leading a practice
  • Extensive knowledge in accounting process, financial reporting, tax regulations and compliance.
  • Process improvements, work allocation, budgeting and technology integration
  • Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients, staff and management.
  • Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Payroll, Staff recruitment and implementing office procedures
  • Proficient in Xero, Karbon, and Practice Ignition
