HVAC Account Manager – Brisbane

SP&R Group is a national business specialising in Air Conditioning, Mechanical, and Controls. We are excited to offer a unique opportunity to join our newly established Brisbane branch. Working closely with the QLD State Manager, this role provides genuine flexibility through a hybrid working model, including time working from home, on-site, and in the office depending on operational needs.

This position was originally planned for 2026; however, due to the rapid growth of our Brisbane team, the role has been brought forward sooner than expected.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the QLD State Manager, you will work in conjunction with the Service Supervisor to:

  • Assist in leading a team of tradespeople and subcontractors to deliver mechanical services across the portfolio.
  • Ensure maintenance, compliance, and contract requirements are met in line with tender specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, adding value to their assets.
  • Submit quotes for repairs and projects in a timely manner.
  • Attend and lead client meetings.
  • Manage contract renewals and tenders.
  • Oversee P&L, financial performance, and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Enjoy the flexibility to manage your workload across WFH, office, and site-based environments.
Key Competencies & Skills

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience leading field and support teams and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of business finances and operational P&L management.
  • Ability to develop, analyse, and present reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in HVAC or mechanical services.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting relationships.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Solid general business and office administration skills.
  • A strong commitment to safe work practices.
What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • HVAC trade qualifications or proven industry experience.
  • Self-motivation and a drive to succeed in your career.
  • High energy, strong work ethic, and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel across Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast regions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and embrace flexible work arrangements.
