This strategic business development role will see you build on your existing relationships in the Australian commercial enterprise-sector. You will leverage your commercial expertise, creativity, and existing business network to identify and close large scale opportunities with major corporate, industrial, and infrastructure clients.

About the Position:

Join ADT Security Australia's Commercial & Enterprise team and help shape Australia's professional security solutions. You will work nationally across high-value clients, building strategic relationships and delivering integrated systems from brands including Gallagher, Avigilon, Axis, Hanwha and Hexagon. This role suits a commercially minded Business Development Manager who thrives turning relationships into large-scale results. This is not a lead-fed role, your experience and ability to engage with enterprise opportunities and networks is key to your success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a technical knowledge of enterprise-grade security solutions, and an ability to communicate technical information such as security capabilities to clients to provide scalable, future-ready solutions.

As a professional in the security industry, you will be a holder of an Australian Security Licence. With a national footprint there is scope for travel, primarily across the East Coast of Australia.

As a Business Development Manager at our Murarrie QLD site , you will drive the growth and success of our business unit. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    Implement effective lead generation strategies to identify and target potential clients or partners.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    Build and nurture relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  3. Sales and Negotiation:
    Convert leads into business deals and secure favorable terms.
  4. Proposal Development and Presentation:
    Create compelling business proposals and presentations.
  5. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
    Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and develop strategic plans.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams to align strategies with company goals.
  7. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Manage budgets and provide accurate forecasts for revenue streams.
  8. Performance Measurement and Reporting:
    Analyse and report on the performance of strategies, making data-driven recommendations.

About You:

Leveraging your broad market knowledge, you will bring opportunities for growth in key market segments: Mining, Banking, Government and Enterprise, supported by our installation, and solutions-engineering teams to design and deliver integrated large-scale security solutions. Your sales skills will be supported by our capable Commercial and Enterprise in-house technical engineering group to enable complex commissioning, integration, and enterprise-grade deployments
