The Role

As the Corporate Quality Senior Engineer play a pivotal role in driving excellence across global operations. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for ensuring product and process integrity, leading root cause analysis, and championing quality initiatives across borders. Your expertise will help shape our Quality Management System and elevate performance across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating cross-border collaboration to meet project deliverables
  • Leading failure analysis and forensic investigations on components and systems
  • Conducting audits and analysing quality data to drive continuous improvement
  • Developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Training and mentoring employees on quality standards and procedures
  • Managing supplier quality through audits and performance evaluations
  • Preparing detailed reports and tracking key performance indicators
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support global quality functions

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or relevant industry trained equivalent.
  • Measurable experience in Quality Management Systems Engineering, Product Development or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Strong engineering drawing and technical requirements appreciation and interpretation.
  • A comprehensive understanding of quality, design and manufacturing risk management principles, framework and methodology.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique technical requirements.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in lean, 5S and value stream processes and tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of the ISO 9001 standards or similar quality management system.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to proactively and independently resolve issues reliably and robustly using engineering problem solving and risk mitigation tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively engage, communicate with an integrated and geographically disperse teams.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and time manage in a high-pressure environment.
  • Collaborative approach leading cross functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software tools: excel, word, project, power point.
  • Able to plan, work and deliver targets autonomously and with a team.

Further bonus points if you have:

  • A Lead Internal Auditor Certification in ISO 9001.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Experience in automotive engineering and project management (includes automotive component suppliers).
