About the Role

An exceptional, newly created opportunity exists to join a global organisation as Head of Accounting & Tax for their Australia & New Zealand business. It's an exciting time to join The business continues to push the boundaries of research, innovation, and technological advancement to benefit millions of customers every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to Executive Finance, you will lead a high performing finance team of 7 and own the financial reporting, compliance, and tax planning across the ANZ operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy and help achieve the organisation's long-term growth objectives. This includes leadership across all accounting functions, managing tax/audit compliance and planning, financial governance, and driving digital transformation and strategic partnerships.

About You

You are a highly capable senior finance leader with strong understanding of AASB, IFRS and corporate tax legislation. CA or CPA qualified and have previously led experienced teams within a complex global or multinational organisation. You are passionate about finance and digital transformation and are familiar using SAP, Oracle or Netsuite previously. You possess the ability to engage and influence effectively with stakeholders at all levels and can bring others on the journey.
