The Opportunity

As our customer base continues to grow, so does the demand for on-site expertise. We're looking for a Switchboard Service Technician who thrives in the field, solving real-world challenges where our products meet our customers' operations.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be the face of Chadwick on-site, trusted to install, commission, troubleshoot, and modify switchboards with precision and professionalism. Every day brings new environments, new challenges, and the satisfaction of keeping critical electrical infrastructure running smoothly.

What You'll Do
  • Install and commission Chadwick switchboards at customer sites across various industries
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with practical, efficient solutions
  • Implement modifications to existing switchboards based on customer requirements
  • Ensure strict compliance with site safety protocols and electrical standards
  • Build strong relationships with customers through exceptional service delivery
  • Think creatively when standard solutions don't fit—we value problem-solvers who can adapt
  • Represent Chadwick's standards of quality and professionalism in every interaction
What We're Looking For

Technical Excellence:

  • Qualified Electrician with current electrical license
  • Strong understanding of switchboard systems, components, and electrical theory
  • Experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical distribution equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

Safety First:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of site safety requirements and WHS regulations
  • Current White Card and relevant safety certifications
  • Proven track record of maintaining safe work practices in varied environments

  • Professional communication skills and polished presentation
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
