The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Reverse Logistics Technician
to join our Supply Chain team.
This hands-on role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing returned or damaged furniture items, ensuring all work meets King Living's high-quality standards. You will support the full reverse logistics process — from intake and repair to refurbishment and recycling — contributing to our sustainable operations and customer satisfaction.
The Role
- Inspect, assess, and diagnose returned or damaged items for repair or refurbishment.
- Perform high-quality repairs to fabric and leather furniture, including frame adjustments, leg replacements, and upholstery work.
- Prepare refurbished furniture for photography, resale, or outlet distribution.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent tracking of parts, components, and materials.
- Log all repairs and movements accurately in internal systems.
- Collaborate with Spare Parts, Quality Control, Field Service, and Warehouse teams to streamline repairs and decisions.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support general warehouse activities, including packaging, despatch, and stock management.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety and handling procedures.
About You
- Experience in warehouse operations and/or furniture repair.
- Skilled with hand and power tools; capable of diagnosing and repairing upholstered furniture.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Forklift licence (LF) essential.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift and move large furniture items.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
