What's the role?

We are seeking experienced multi-skilled machine operators to join the Qube team in Carrapateena. This role involves the operation of heavy machinery on-site at Carrapateena, to assist in the transportation copper concentrate from Carrapateena to various locations in the Spencer Gulf region.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

  • Unrestricted HR licence or higher
  • Must have relevant machinery tickets
  • Minimum 12 months experience operating front end loaders (Cat 980 or bigger) and forklifts
  • Minimum 12 months experience operating dozers and excavators
  • Ideal to have experience operating Moxy trucks also
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance & Traffic Infringement Report 
  • Good knowledge of load restraint guidelines
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • A positive attitude towards the transport industry
