The Role

The Procurement Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring suppliers are selected who help the business operate profitably and sustainably. The successful candidate will report to the Procurement Manager and will assist in securing quality suppliers for materials, components, and third-party finished goods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting supplier management to ensure a constant supply of materials
  • Reviewing supplier performance and managing issues to ensure obligations are met and suppliers are agile to the business's needs.
  • Collaborating with a team on implementing and evaluating procurement strategies, frameworks, and processes.
  • Maintaining relevant supplier and material information within the MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system.
  • Assisting with the management of working capital to align with company expectations.
  • Aiding in the development of procurement strategies that create a sustainable outcome for both the suppliers and the company.
