The opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Procurement Assistant to join our team in Rydalmere, NSW, supporting electrical, instrumentation, and engineering projects across Australia.

In this role, you will assist the Procurement team by managing day-to-day procurement activities including processing purchase orders, maintaining supplier records, coordinating supplier communications, and supporting tender and contract administration. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth procurement operations and timely delivery of materials and services.

Additional Responsibilities Include

  • Assisting with the preparation and processing of purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records and databases
  • Supporting supplier engagement and communication
  • Assisting with tender documentation and contract administration
  • Coordinating with project teams to track procurement schedules and delivery status
  • Helping ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

About You
You are detail-focused with good organisational and communication skills, keen to build your procurement experience within an engineering or construction environment.

  • Previous experience in procurement support, administration, or supply chain roles preferred
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and terminology
  • Experience using procurement or ERP systems (e.g., Procore, ApprovalMax, Xero, PowerBi) is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Relevant qualifications or studies in Business, Procurement, or Supply Chain are a plus
