Office 2–3 days per week, with hybrid and flexible working conditions available
(note: office attendance days subject to change)

The Long Service Corporation is a standalone agency within
the Department of Customer Services that reports directly to the Managing
Director of Service NSW whilst maintaining its executive agency
status.

About the team:

The Long Service Corporation (LSC) manages portable long service schemes for
the building and construction industry, contract cleaning industry and the
community services industry.

You will be joining the Projects Team within the Strategy
& Governance division. The Projects Team plays a pivotal role in supporting
strategic initiatives across LSC. We work closely with various parts of the
organisation to ensure quality decision-making and strong governance. Our work
is diverse, fast-paced, and impactful—ranging from policy reviews to preparing
key reports and responding to ad hoc requests that shape the direction of LSC.

Day-to-day:

As part of the Projects Team, you will:
- Provide administrative support to the Secretary of Industry Committees
- Assist in drafting briefing notes, including those prepared in relation to ministerial requests
- Undertake legislative research, including reviewing legal opinions and industry information, to support policy development and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks
- Communicating with stakeholders to ensure LSC procedures are regularly updated and aligned with LSC policies
- Support the preparation of the LSC Annual Report
- Assisting junior members of the Projects Team with tasks and project plans to ensure successful delivery of outcomes
- Respond to a wide range of ad hoc requests that require agility and problem-solving

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

- The ability to develop effective stakeholder relationships, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues in internal and external teams to enable decisions and outcomes. 
- That you are a proactive
person who can work independently to deliver to tight deadlines and be
flexible and resilient in an environment of changing or competing
priorities. 
- You have intermediate
written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate
complex information into clear, actionable messages for diverse audiences.

- You are highly
organised and detail-oriented, with adept project management skills and
the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines.
- You have previous experience
working with or within a regulatory, compliance or government environment.
