We are seeking a Senior Document Controller to join us, in Brisbane.
As a Senior Document Controller, you will play a key role in supporting our Project Delivery Team across Australia East and Asia Pacific. Working closely with the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of project documentation. This is a great opportunity for a motivated team player with experience in document control for engineering projects to contribute to high-impact work in a collaborative environment across a very exciting portfolio.
About the role
- Liaise with Project Managers to document project specific work instructions and processes.
- Provide support and advice to project teams on document management best practices.
- Maintain document registers and ensure version and revision control of all project documentation.
- Attend project meetings and report on the status of key deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with project-specific document control procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Ensure documentation is prepared, reviewed, and approved in line with Ausenco and client standards.
- Assist with formatting, compiling, and delivering controlled project packages.
- Support ad hoc project administration tasks as required.
About you
- Proven experience in document control for engineering projects.
- Proficient in document management systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, or similar.
- Skilled in developing and implementing document control procedures and guidelines.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems (desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Document formatting and preparation skills (an advantage).
