About the role

Stellarossa Everton Park is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our vibrant team. As our Chef, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers, driving the success of our kitchen operations. This is a full-time role based in our Everton Park, Queensland location.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality meals to our menu specifications
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
  • Collaborating with the management team to develop new menu items for our specials boards
  • Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld
  • Providing guidance and training to kitchen staff to develop their skills
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Chef, ideally within the hospitality or cafe industry
  • Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and hygiene
  • Qualifications in Hospitality, Culinary Arts or a related field would be highly regarded
