We are seeking an experienced Finishes Foreman for a 6-month contract to oversee all finishing works on a high-rise residential development. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of apartments and common areas while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all finishing trades on-site, including carpenters, painters, tilers, and fit-out teams.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed to project specifications and schedules.
  • Monitor workmanship quality and ensure all finishes meet the required standards.
  • Maintain programme schedules and coordinate with project management to ensure milestones are met.
  • Enforce WHS policies and safe working practices across all finishing trades.
  • Inspect completed works and report any defects or areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with site management, contractors, and clients.
  • Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain workflow efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Finishes Foreman on multistorey residential projects.
  • Strong leadership and trade coordination skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS requirements and safe site practices.
  • Ability to manage programmes and schedules effectively.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality finishes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
