The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a General Foreman to join our passionate Construction team As a General Foreman you will manager critical day-to-day operations of the projects, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You will work closely with all sub-contractors, and your site team to ensure your site is safe, your program is on track, and your project is of highest quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in high-spec, high-rise residential apartment projects.
  • Trade background, ideally carpentry, or Diploma of Building and Construction.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Experience working in a Tier 2 main contractor or developer / builder is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in construction documentation (construction, program, quality, safety).
  • Exceptional time management skills to oversee every aspect of the project without compromising site presence.
  • Strong leadership skills, providing clear direction and support to the team to drive outstanding outcomes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Building Codes and Australian Standards.
  • Proficiency in construction planning, ideally with MS Project.
  • Experience delivering large-scale multi-storey projects in Australia with project values over $100 million

What you'll do

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all trades and site activities to meet program, budget, and Landmark's quality standards.
  • Oversee daily site operations ensuring compliance with safety requirements, work plans, and site logistics (deliveries, crane board, material movement).
  • Manage subcontractors and resources to maximise productivity and ensure work aligns with design, schedule, and scope.
  • Monitor and maintain quality through QMS inspections, iAuditor checks, and prompt resolution of on-site issues.
  • Review drawings and design documentation to confirm constructability, protect budgets, and identify impacts to program.
  • Produce short-term programs and reports (e.g., two-week lookaheads) and communicate effectively with the Site Manager on progress or risks.
