HBG are representing a leading developer and builder specializing in residential units, Luxury and mixed use projects. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality developments, they are expanding their team and looking for aForeman to manage and oversee the day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the construction of structural and finishes elements.
  • Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of site operatives, sub-contractors, and other on-site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns.
  • Review and interpret drawings and specifications to ensure work is completed to the correct standards and within deadlines.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize daily tasks to ensure efficient and effective workflow on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Resolve any technical issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly maintained.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs and safety reports.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, quality control, and high safety standards.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a foreman or supervisory role within the residential construction sector, specifically in structural works.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, construction processes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience in managing large teams and coordinating subcontractors effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Solid knowledge of modern construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to make decisions on the spot.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Health and safety-focused with a keen eye for risk mitigation.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, with ongoing project works across the residential space.
