We're looking for a hands-on
Safety Projects Consultant
to join us part-time on a 12-month contract, with the potential to extend. Reporting to the Site Safety Advisor, you'll be embedded in safety initiatives at our 24/5, state-of-the-art Truganina Distribution Centre.

This is more than a compliance role – we want someone with
warehouse experience
, strong
risk assessment
capability, and a drive for practical, outcomes-focused solutions.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead and deliver targeted risk assessments across high-risk warehouse operations
  • Partner with the Safety Advisor, Engineers, HSRs, and operators to implement practical controls
  • Analyse incident data and site risk profiles to identify and prioritise safety improvements
  • Apply manual handling and ergonomic expertise to reduce injury risks
  • Support wider safety initiatives, including leadership programs and manual task redesign
  • Influence change and promote a proactive safety culture using your subject matter expertise

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a WHS role, ideally in warehousing or logistics
  • Qualifications in WHS or an allied health-related field
  • Sound knowledge of Victorian WHS legislation and relevant Codes of Practice
  • Understanding of hazardous manual handling principles
  • Strong reporting and documentation skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to think strategically and bring new ideas to the table
