We're looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at Newy Burger Co, a busy and popular local burger restaurant in Newcastle.

What you'll do:

  • Help run the kitchen and support the Head Chef
  • Cook and prepare burgers and menu items to a high standard
  • Lead the team during service and keep things running smoothly
  • Keep the kitchen clean and follow food safety rules
  • Help with ordering and stock checks
  • Train and guide junior kitchen staff

About you:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen (burger or café experience a bonus)
  • Reliable, organised, and a good team player
  • Able to work under pressure and keep a positive attitude
  • Passionate about good food and quality
