About the role:
Parks Victoria is seeking an experienced and highly organised Board Secretariat to play a vital role in supporting the effective governance of the organisation. This position ensures that the Board, Sub-Committees and Senior Executive Committee operate efficiently, transparently, and in full compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and distributing agendas, papers, and meeting materials for the Board and Committees.
- Recording accurate and timely minutes and maintaining action registers.
- Managing member engagement and supporting effective communication between the Board, Committees, and Executive.
- Providing high-quality strategic and administrative advice to support decision-making.
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
We're looking for someone with:
- Demonstrated experience in governance or executive-level administrative support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including minute-taking and document preparation.
- Sound understanding of governance principles and compliance obligations.
- Proven ability to manage confidential information and exercise sound judgement.

About Us:
The Office of the CEO provides strategic advice, administrative and governance support to the CEO and Board. The office collaborates with the executives across the organisation, leading and supporting the delivery of Parks Victoria's strategic objectives, legislative requirements and government priorities, and manages the organisations' authorising environment, building and strengthening relationships with ministerial offices across all levels of government and with external stakeholders.
The office also ensures the timely preparation of high-quality briefings, correspondence and reports for senior decision makers, and provides high quality secretariat support to the Board (and its subcommittees) and to operational governance committees.
