About the Job

This newly created Head of Marketing role is a member of the senior leadership team and reports directly into the Managing Director. Located at our Brisbane office, the role will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy for Australia and New Zealand and for being operationally hands on.

Your mission will be to support and drive the growth, retention, and engagement of our members through innovative and data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and implementation of marketing strategies to drive membership growth and engagement.
  • Manage department budgets in collaboration with the finance team, ensuring cost effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance our reputation.
  • Oversee the growth of our digital presence, including social media platforms  and website content.
  • Research and test new paid channels and tactics to effectively reach and convert target member avatars (consumer profiles).
  • Set up, monitor, and optimise campaigns to achieve optimal cost per lead (CPL), cost per acquisition (CPA), and free cash flow
  • Lead graphic design with the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, and reports.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing and sales team.
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators and performance metrics to the CEO.

About you

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing and or sales leadership role, ideally in a medium to large organisation.

  • A degree in marketing communications or business is required.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.

  • Demonstrated strategic and operational acumen, with sound negotiation, budgetary and decision-making skills.
  • Data-driven, ROI-focused, and confident using analytics tools to drive decisions.
  • Expert in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and familiar with emerging platforms
  • Digital and Social Media expert with the ability to create, manage and engage the right content to our diverse member demographics utilising your strong knowledge of key marketing strategies and tools.
