About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead and manage a small team in delivering end-to-end operational human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, position management, and workforce reporting. This role plays a critical part in partnering with CBS management and staff to ensure compliance with employment and industrial provisions, while providing high-level consultancy and advice on performance management, recruitment, position management, and workforce programs. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you will help shape and inform effective workforce planning and development. About the Business

The Attorney-General's Department (AGD) provides a range of legal, regulatory and other services for the government and people of South Australia. Employing around 1500 staff, AGD promotes justice by protecting people's rights, holding people to account according to the law, improving safety and contributing to an efficient and fair justice system.

Consumer and Business Services (CBS) is a division of the Attorney-General's Department and is responsible for protecting consumers, supporting and regulating businesses and recording significant life events for South Australians. CBS is customer focussed and flexible in its activities, providing accessible information and services.

The Corporate Services Branch provides essential corporate support to the operations of CBS. The branch is responsible for delivering Human Resources, Finance, Auditing, Compliance, Procurement, Facilities, Security and Records Management functionality across CBS. The branch also works closely with the corporate areas of AGD.

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
