
HR Support Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Support Officer for a 3-4 month temporary contract with an immediate start. Join a large, highly respected government organisation and be part of a supportive, collaborative HR team of over 20 people in the CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact in a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities- HR Administration: Deliver timely and confidential administrative services, including preparing engagement documentation, managing leave provisions, and processing conditions of employment.
- Recruitment Coordination: Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from drafting job advertisements and reviewing requisitions to publishing vacancies.
- Data Management: Maintain the integrity of workforce data by creating and updating employee information in our HR management system (Chris 21).
- Operational Support: Provide guidance and advice on HR procedures and practices to business units. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services by developing new procedures and training materials.
- Experience in a similar HR administration or support role.
- Ideally, you\'ll have experience in public sector, but this isn\'t essential.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Expereince in using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
