HR Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced HR Partner in mining, manufacturing or heavy industry who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, working with a diverse and collaborative team of operations staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to provide HR advisory support and coaching on people matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations and change management.
• Analyse and monitor workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and support the delivery of proactive strategies in response.
• Provide direct HR support to operational leaders, helping them manage their daily tasks and drive positive culture initiatives within their teams.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality services.
• Actively collaborate with the broader HR team to drive the continuous improvement of our service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will have

• Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in human resources within mining or other related heavy industries.
• Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative partnerships with employees and management.
• Skilled in using influence to gain buy-in and drive change.
• Sound experience in Employee Relations, including interpreting and advising on Entreprise Agreements.
• Skilled in applying logic and critical thinking to resolve workplace challenges.
• Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday.
• Valid C class driver's licence.
