Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ingredients.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.

Customer Service

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring excellent service.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the dining experience.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Monitor and control operational costs, including labor and food expenses.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement cost-effective strategies.
  • Manage cash flow, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and bank deposits.

Staff Management

  • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor restaurant staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
  • Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.

Marketing and Promotion

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers.
  • Coordinate special events, promotions, and community outreach programs.
  • Maintain an active presence on social media and manage online reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
  • Strong understanding of Indian cuisine and culture.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Capacity to handle a fast-paced environment and stressful situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
