About the role

The Venue Manager at Club Manning Point , part of the Dubbo RSL Memorial Club Group is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the successful operation of this vibrant hospitality venue. In this full-time position, you will manage all aspects of the venue's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving ongoing profitability.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the venue team, guiding them to deliver outstanding experiences for all guests
  • Manage the venue's financial performance, including budgeting, stock take , invoicing , forecasting and cost control
  • Oversee the training and development of the venue's staff, building a high-performing and engaged team
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant licensing, health and safety, and other regulatory requirement
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and the local community
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to enhance the venue's operations and profitability
  • Champion a positive and customer-centric culture that aligns with the club's values

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in a venue management role, ideally within the hospitality or club industry
  • Proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence and reporting
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to foster positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Thorough understanding of relevant compliance and licensing requirements
  • RSA and Advanced RCG Certificate required
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, hospitality management or a related field would be highly regarded
