**Summary**

Our client, the Aria Hotel Group Pty Lt, owns and operates the largest conference venue in Regional Victoria - The Mercure Ballarat Hotel and Convention Centre. Set amongst three hectares of beautifully manicured gardens, it’s conveniently located just over an hours drive from the Melbourne CBD. An opportunity exists for a for an experienced Hotel Manager to manage, organise and control the operations of the Hotel, accommodation, meals and other services. With facilities to cater for 10 to 1000 guests, Mercure Ballarat is an outstanding venue catering to conferences, business retreats, social events or wedding celebrations.

The successful applicant will need to have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years experience in Hotel Management. Have you got what it takes?

**Your duties will include**:

- Organise and control the operations of the hotel, conference centre, guest accommodation, meals and other services.
- directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities.
- supervising security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance.
- planning and supervising bar, restaurant, function and conference activities.
- observing liquor, gaming, and other laws and regulations.
- assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction.
- overseeing accounting and purchasing activities.
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- may provide guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation.

**Applicants must have**:

- Bachelor Degree
- Minimum three years experience as a Manager in Hospitality.
- Be results driven and take pride in adding value.
- Attention to detail and have a proven track record in hospitality.
