Company Overview:
Dankav is a privately owned property development business with a bold vision: to create landmark projects that redefine Australia's coastal and urban landscapes. Our current flagship, The Alfred at Mermaid Beach, is a $350 million mixed-use residential and retail precinct setting a new standard for design, quality, and delivery.
As our pipeline expands, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our delivery team based at our head office in Miami, Gold Coast. This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-profile, large-scale development while gaining direct exposure to every stage of project delivery.
Immediate start preferred.
Role Purpose
The Contracts Administrator will play a key role in managing procurement, contract administration, and project delivery functions. You'll be responsible for preparing and administering contracts, managing subcontractor relationships, and supporting project reporting to ensure delivery within scope, cost, and time objectives.
This position suits someone with strong commercial and technical acumen who thrives in a dynamic, detail-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration & Procurement
- Prepare, review, and issue contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
- Manage tender processes, subcontractor comparisons, and procurement schedules.
- Administer progress claims, purchase orders, and payment schedules.
- Support monthly cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management.
Document Control & Systems
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Track and manage drawings, specifications, RFIs, and registers.
- Monitor compliance documentation, insurances, and safety records.
Project & Commercial Support
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Support reporting and commercial analysis of subcontractor packages.
- Identify and flag potential risks or delays in delivery.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or similar role within construction or development.
- Strong background in procurement, contract negotiation, and cost management.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple packages in a fast-paced project environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Procore and Bluebeam systems.
- Exposure to Tier 1 or large-scale mixed-use / residential projects.
Personal Attributes
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive.
- Confident in managing subcontractor performance and driving deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and commercial acumen.
- Team-oriented with a professional, hands-on approach.
Why Join Dankav?
- Play a key role in delivering one of the Gold Coast's most iconic new developments.
- Work closely with the Director and senior leadership team in a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Gain exposure across all project phases — design, procurement, delivery, and completion.
- Immediate start, with competitive remuneration and clear growth potential.
- We value hard work and celebrate team success. Social and milestone celebrations are part of how we recognise and reward delivering great work.
- Last year, our Christmas party was held on Hamilton Island at our luxury properties and onboard our charter yacht — a great example of how we reward the effort and commitment of our team.
- For the right person, this role offers the potential to grow into a longer-term career within a diverse and expanding business.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining:
- Your experience in contract administration and procurement.
- Any experience you have using Procore, Bluebeam, or on Tier 1 / large-scale projects.
