Overview

We're on the hunt for a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator on a 12 month contract to assist the Community Experiences Manager with bringing our brand to life through exceptional experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of initiatives that excite and engage our community from on-the-ground activations and events to surprise-and-delight campaigns and digital promotions.

You'll play a critical part in shaping and executing how our community interacts with Dabble both in-person and online, ensuring every touchpoint is authentic, memorable and undeniably Dabble.

Primary Location

This role is currently open to locations within Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging in-person and digital brand experiences
  • Support the execution of brand activations, community campaigns, and sports partnerships
  • Coordinate event logistics including venues, catering, staffing, merchandise, and run sheets
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Manage RSVPs and guest information to provide a premium event experience
  • Stay across experiential trends and competitor activity to keep Dabble at the forefront of community engagement

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in events coordination, brand activations, or experiential marketing.

  • Strong project coordination and time management skills.

  • High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proactive mindset – grab the ball and run with it, with a can-do attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to work weekends or outside standard hours during key events or activations.

Are you a Dabbler?

A Dabbler's attitude is paramount, as the right person will be able to learn quickly and adapt to any skill gaps. A Dabbler is always a team player, with a willingness to share with and learn from others. Being a remote-first workplace, collaborative working styles are crucial to empower and grow each individual member (eg we prefer openness via public channels to problem solve or ideate on Slack).

A Dabbler uses their freedom of autonomy to its absolute potential and enjoys contributing to the Dabble community. We hold respect for our peers very highly – there is no such thing as a bad idea. We encourage you to think differently, be brave and strive to always raise the bar. Dabble was born out of thought sharing and should tackle growth in the same way. Dabble embraces empowerment of all people at any level of seniority and experience to 'own their work' and 'talk their book' wherever they can.

A fulfilling life extends beyond work, and we encourage our employees to prioritise self-care and well-being. This means taking breaks when needed, setting boundaries, and seeking support when facing challenges. We are committed to creating a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable discussing their wellbeing and accessing resources when necessary.

Your schedule

This is a predominantly a Monday to Friday position. However, flexibility is required as occasional weekend work and interstate travel may be necessary to support event delivery.

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 + Super + Benefits with room to be flexible.
