We are currently seeking an organized, detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our Human Resources Team.
About the Role
As an HR Administrator, you will provide high-level administrative support across all areas of Human Resources, with a strong emphasis on recruitment coordination, compliance monitoring, and onboarding and offboarding processes. You'll ensure our workforce meets industry regulations and standards, contributing to the delivery of safe and compassionate care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, and offers of employment
- Manage onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
- Oversee offboarding processes including exit interviews, system updates, and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation, aged care standards, and internal policies
- Monitor and manage staff compliance requirements, including police checks, vaccinations, and mandatory training
- Support the HR team with employment contracts, variations, and HRIS data entry and maintenance
- Provide timely HR administrative support to managers and staff
- Assist with performance review processes, probation tracking, and contract renewals
- Respond to HR-related queries and provide first-level advice or escalate as appropriate
- Support internal audits and preparation for external accreditation or compliance assessments
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
About You
- Previous experience in a similar HR administrative role, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or a regulated environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a busy environment
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable)
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of current vaccinations as per QLD Health and aged care requirements
