Key Responsibilities

  • The ability to successfully manage a wide range of interesting family law matters
  • The role includes both dispute resolution and hard litigation
  • Strong knowledge in both children's cases and property settlements is desired
  • Excellent drafting skills, including correspondence, consent orders, applications, affidavits, etc
  • Excellent ability to successfully negotiate outcomes for clients
  • Appearing in court for Mentions, Hearings, Conferences & Trials
  • Opportunity to also work in other practice areas if you are interested in doing so.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a similar Family Lawyer position, preferably in private practice
  • Prioritisation, organisation and time management skills to meet objectives
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite 365 skills
  • Warm, friendly and professional with a customer service focus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive approach to achieving team and business goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build robust working relationships within a dynamic team environment.
