About the position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our client's dynamic and award-winning Family Law practice based in Brisbane. This team is known for delivering outstanding outcomes in a broad range of complex family law matters. You'll work closely with nationally respected family lawyers, while receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced Partners and senior practitioners.
As a member of the Brisbane team, you'll manage a diverse caseload involving high-value property settlements, parenting disputes, binding financial agreements, and spousal maintenance. You’ll work with a wide range of clients including high-net-worth individuals, professionals, and business owners, often on matters that require strategic insight and emotional intelligence.
You’ll be part of a national family law team, giving you access to cross-jurisdictional expertise, resources, and a collaborative legal network. The firm’s leadership is committed to providing meaningful career development, regular performance feedback, and genuine work-life balance.
Key Requirements
- 3–8 years’ post-admission experience in family law
- Demonstrated experience with property settlements and parenting matters
- Ability to manage clients with empathy and professionalism
- Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration capabilities
