THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Internal Sales Administration Officer to support the daily operational functions of our Concrete business. This role is essential in ensuring smooth coordination with all the administration tasks to assist the team. The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative skills, a proactive mindset, and a solid understanding of operational processes within a concrete or similar supply chain-driven industry.
This role provides a broad range of administrative and sales support to the Concrete Leadership and Sales Team. Key responsibilities include managing internal sales processes, handling lead generation and tracking, assisting customers with decorative concrete selections, and coordinating with other divisions within the Hallett Group to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. The position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
• Strong commitment to safety, health & environmental responsibility
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including sales data, lead management, invoicing, customer interaction, outsourcing and purchase orders
• Help maintain records of safety inspections and reporting
• General administration tasks as required
• Maintain the decorative concrete display, monitor range and sales
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES
• Previous experience in an administrative or operations role (concrete, construction material supplies, sales, manufacturing, or logistics preferred)
• Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of concrete basics and industry terminology (desirable but not essential)
• Proactive, positive and solutions focused mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
