THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our People & Culture team based in our Dry Creek head office. Reporting to the General Manager – SHEC and P&C and working alongside the Human Resources Business Partner you will be responsible for delivering on a variety of functions related to team member onboarding, supporting operational teams with employee related matters, workers compensation administration elements and a variety of other P&C administrative elements, as well as supporting the broader Hallett Group.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
• Manage internal and external P&C enquiries
• Maintain P&C files, registers, databases as well as forms and templates
• Manage recruitment processes including advertisements, pre-employment medical bookings and assistance with onboarding processes
• Assist with P&C reporting including collating workforce data
• Supporting the Human Resources Business Partner with personnel file management
• Supporting in the development of training and educational materials for front line leaders and the broader Hallett Team
• Support operational teams in providing timely advice and guidance relating to P&C matters
• Provide administrative support to Apprentice/Traineeship/Graduate/Work Experience and Workskil programs including assisting with documentation processing subsidies
• Provide other administrative support to the broader Hallett Group when requested
• Some intrastate travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | CAPABILITIES
• Qualifications in Human Resources or related field (required)
• 2+ years of experience in a HR role in an organisation with a mix of blue and white collar workforce
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience managing and prioritising competing tasks with multiple internal customers
• Experience with Microsoft suite of products
• Drivers Licence
