The Coolangatta Surf Club, located on the stunning  Coolangatta beachfront, is looking for an experienced finance administrator to join our small office team.

Serving a busy and popular surf club with a workforce of around 90, the administration team is small, friendly and supportive, and we're looking for one more person to join us on a casual / part time basis, to support our financial administration.

Working alongside our Administration Manager, you will be responsible for daily till preparation using our Cash Recycler. You'll prepare the daily takings reports and input with accuracy into Xero, as well as prepare the weekly banking, accounts payable, and reconciliations.

Working autonomously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is imperative in this role.

The position would suit someone with a background in accounts & bookkeeping , who is looking for part time hours. We will be offering the right candidate 20 – 25 hours a week over 4 mornings. Those with experience of hospitality administration (keno, gaming machines, POS etc) would be highly regarded.

We're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Sound time management skills
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • Experience with accounting software - Xero preferred
  • A friendly, can-do attitude
  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • The ability to work additional hours when required (e.g. holiday cover)

Non essential but highly beneficial:

  • Previous Hospitality experience will be beneficial
  • Experience with TCR (Cash Recycler) equipment
