Select Industrial is seeking an organized and experienced Field Services Manager to lead and manage our industrial electrical and automation projects. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, quoting, procurement, and client coordination aspects of field operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.

You will be crucial to maintaining project timelines, coordinating skilled teams, and building strong client relationships in an environment that spans various industries, including electrical contracting and industrial automation.

Select Industrial, part of Renko Group, specializes in delivering industrial electrical and automation solutions. Renko Group supports startups and established businesses within the supply chain, manufacturing, electrical contracting, and construction sectors. Our group includes Select Switchboards, Icon Engraving, Custom Works, and Dynamix Fabrication, Lighthouse Building Automation. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational effectiveness, project alignment, and exceptional service within Select Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee field service projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Scheduling: Efficiently manage workforce scheduling for electricians, trade assistants, and subcontractors to maximize productivity.
• Quoting: Develop competitive quotes by collaborating with sales and technical teams, clearly presenting options to clients.
• Procurement: Manage sourcing and timely procurement of project materials, negotiating favorable terms to optimize costs.
• Client Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for client communication, proactively managing expectations and resolving issues effectively.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor field service teams, enhancing skills, motivation, and overall performance.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare insightful reports on project status, resource allocation, and financial outcomes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous standards of quality and safety, implementing robust quality control measures and performing regular audits.

Who We're Looking For

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with substantial experience in electrical or automation services management. This position requires excellent organizational skills, adaptability in handling multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with clients.

Ideal candidates will have experience in electrical contracting, automation systems, or related industries and be comfortable with rapid problem-solving, strategic scheduling, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Valid NT driver's license and the legal right to work in Australia
