
Architectural Relationship Manager

Join a global business with year on year growth for an exiting new chapter in Sydney. A newly created position, the Architectural Relationship Manager will establish and manage partnerships with architects across Australia.
You will play an important role in engaging with the design and architectural community in Greater Sydney and nationally, guiding partners on designs and opportunities for product inclusion from the initial design concept to final installation.
This position is based in Sydney, but requires regular travel across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a plan to establish and nurture partnerships with the Architecture community
- Proactively manage accounts through engaging meetings, focused on inspiring and educating them on design and product guidance
- Represent the company at conferences and events, and organise seminars for architects
- Champion the principles of Sustainable Building Practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project management and handover
- Create a sustainable network by engaging with architecture universities and societies
Skills and Experience
- The ideal candidate is autonomous, pro-active, and detail-oriented
- Experience in a relationship management or sales position within Architecture and Design is essential
- Demonstrated proficiency and willingness to perform presentations both in person and remotely
- Existing relationships within the A&D community highly regarded
- Knowledge of building products, construction methods and the Building Code of Australia
- Ability to interpret and understand Architectural plans and technical documents
- A passion for sustainable building design and improving the lives and spaces created
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and trust
- A sales mindset is needed to ensure partners design the right solutions for their customers
- Past experience as an architect, using architectural software such as Revit, ArchiCAD or Vectorworks highly regarded
