We are seeking a
highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager
to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for sales and business growth to contribute to a well-established and successful business
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and results-oriented sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales and a proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities. While experience in the
food service
or
packaging industry
is highly desirable, it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet sales targets and business objectives
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers
- Prepare and manage accurate sales reporting through our CRM system (Sage)
- Regularly meet and exceed established sales KPIs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
- This role will involve some regional travel as required
About You:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar business development or sales role
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and distribution channels
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage priorities
- Experience in the packaging or food service industry will be advantageous
- Proficiency in software (preferably Sage), Microsoft Office Suite and Hubspot
- Ability and willingness to travel interstate as required
