The Role:

Enhance your career with one of Australia's leading catering and restaurant companies – Pearl Catering. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Events Coordinator to enhance our team, focusing on organising and executing a wide variety of events.

We offer a dynamic chance to advance your career in the field of catering and events management. In collaboration with our Senior Management team, you will play a crucial role in conceptualising and facilitating a broad spectrum of events across our MHNSW (Museums of History NSW) portfolio, predominately at The Mint in the CBD.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the client from the initial inquiry all the way to the sale and successful implementation of the event.
  • Building client relationships and managing client communication in a timely manner.
  • Planning and coordinating all aspects of the catered events.
  • Ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved, guaranteeing a smooth execution of all events both from a MHNSW and Pearl Catering perspective.
  • Managing catering package sales, contracts, payments and event planning with precision and care, whilst meeting KPIs
  • Assisting with the service of catered events.

The Suitable Candidate Must Have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the events or hospitality industries.
  • A passion for sales and events with an interest in food and beverage.
  • An engaging, confident and energetic personality.
  • A team orientated mindset with the ability to work collaboratively with our clients, kitchen staff, suppliers, and vendors to deliver excellence.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage planning multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong & articulate communication skills
  • Full rights to live and work in Australia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft including Word, Excel and Outlook.
