Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia's leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide's most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and Coopers Stadium, in addition to functions and events at The Drive.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic HR professional to join our team as a Talent Coordinator. We're looking for a proactive and engaging individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of key tasks while making a real impact on our people strategy.
The Role
As the Talent Coordinator, you will take on a variety of People functions, coordinating recruitment efforts, providing support across various HR systems, and contributing to key people programs. - HRIS Administration: Ensure accurate data is maintained within various Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), including the Learning Management System (LMS) and Rostering/Time & Attendance systems. Human Force experience highly regarded.
- People Programs: Support and manage AVM's Work Experience, Industry Placement, CSR, and Diversity & Inclusion programs in collaboration with the People Manager. Help create opportunities for meaningful team member engagement and development.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development of efficient HR processes, ensuring best practices are followed and providing recommendations for process enhancements.
- Reporting & Analysis: Assist in generating reports from HR systems to monitor performance, track KPIs, and inform decision-making on talent-related matters.
Skills you will bring to the role:
- This position will be the next logical step in your career, having already competently performed a range of activities similar to those listed above, at or immediately beyond entry-level.
- You will have plenty of initiative, a proactive 'can do' attitude and be flexible, innovative and solutions-focused in your approach to your work.

- An ability to confidently communicate and professionally interact with people from a diverse range of cultural, social and educational backgrounds – particularly important to confidently deliver face to face induction sessions to large numbers of new team members.
- A broad exposure to maintaining accurate online and in-house HRIS data.
- You've gained initial experience in People & Culture roles or studies and are now ready to dive deeper and expand your knowledge
