The Role:

We are actively seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager / 2IC to join our mining operations teams. Working closely with the site manager, the successful applicant,  will need to demonstrate the ability to supervise a medium–large team and is responsible for all operational personnel in crushing and blending operations on a FIFO 2:1 roster ex Perth. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with client representatives and senior management in regard to production, safety, and maintenance;
  • Complete the required inspections, audits, and HSE reports;
  • Complete daily  production reports and submit them in a timely manner;
  • Schedule, plan and perform maintenance activities;
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels;
  • Ensure the crushing plant operates to the maximum output capacity and efficiency;
  • Actively supervise all employees and sub-contractors on site;
  • Conduct internal training when required

Essential Criteria:

  • At least 2-3 years of "hands-on" supervisory experience in mine site/quarry/mobile crushing operations;
  • Mobile Plant and/or Trade Qualified;
  • Have demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Management (desirable);
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
